The 'Zed-Time' Electronic Sleeping Aid is extremely user friendly and simple to operate.
The small and portable Zed-Time generates an electric current similar to that generated by the human body, and sends those mild electrical impulses through ear clips into the body.
After having clipped the Zed-Time to your ear lobes using the light-pressure clips and connected the leadwire to the control unit, there are just two operating buttons - an on/off button and an intensity button.
The on/off button also controls which of the three different rhythms is selected (with use you'll settle on the rhythm you prefer).
The intensity is adjusted by a rotating wheel control. It makes most sense to start with a low intensity and gradually increase it. If the intensity is too high, the most that will be felt is a mild tingling sensation. If at any time the tingling sensation proves too strong, the intensity can immediately be reduced by a small rotation of the intensity control wheel.
Using a Zed-Time is a relaxing and pleasant therapeutic experience. Research indicates that the Zed-Time operates effectively at both lower and higher levels of stimulation as well as below the threshold of sensation (ie, when you can't feel it at all!). Set it to your preferred intensity, lie back and enjoy the relaxing sensation! Some people prefer to turn the unit down below the level of 'feeling' while others enjoy the slight tingling sensation! You choose!
Your Zed-Time comes with a built-in belt-clip allowing you full freedom of movement. Whilst this allows you to use it just about anywhere you choose, the optimum time is in a settled, quiet period immediately before bedtime.
The Zed-Time control unit measures 9.0 x 7.5 x 2.0cms (3.5 x 3.0 x 0.75"). The unit, cables and earclips are predominantly white, the detail on the unit is picked out in blue. An instruction sheet and batteries are included in the presentation box.
The 'Zed-Time' Electronic Sleeping Aid has full CE approval for use in the EU.
