Just the sweetest Malteser!
Here's Molly, the cutest 12 months old Maltese of Zoya Clough, who lives in St Helier, Jersey. (There's a coincidence for a start - "Of which channel island is St Helier the capital?" was a question in my pub quiz recently - how much do I wish Zoya had bought her jacket a week earlier!)
Molly, who came originally from the Czech Republic, likes the sea (which is just as well, because she's surrounded by the English Channel!) and the Clough family has a boat. Molly can now be lifted on board and do a bit of posing in her 'Tiny' size life jacket!
Fashion dilemma of the day: should she wear her tail down or up with her new jacket?

Better late than never!

Deadly serious
Laura Deadman and Will Bembridge of Hertford, Hertfordshire, bought two life jackets from our '4u' range and report:
"We're finally back from our camping trip so can now give you the photos of our dogs wearing the jackets. We took them canoeing which they LOVED. However it was a bit choppy and we did capsize with our small dog Kiki. I have no qualms that the jacket prevented a potentially fatal situation for our tiniest pack member. We were able to use the grab handle and stop her being taken by the current. So thanks for stocking them in her tiny size."
"Can't really think of a witty caption. But definitely glad we invested. It did at first seem like a large price for something that wouldn't be dangerous but in a split second that jacket probably saved my dog from drowning."

These photos show Rosie, a 16 week old Patterdale terrier, in her 'Tiny' size life jacket. Owner Jen Pattinson of Carlisle reports: "Rosie spent a wonderful two holidays in Grange, near Keswick, Lake District.
"The buoyancy aid fitted perfectly and although not needed for any heroic rescues I think it gave her some added confidence on her first paddling adventure and canoe trip!"
