Just the sweetest Malteser!

Here's Molly, the cutest 12 months old Maltese of Zoya Clough, who lives in St Helier, Jersey. (There's a coincidence for a start - "Of which channel island is St Helier the capital?" was a question in my pub quiz recently - how much do I wish Zoya had bought her jacket a week earlier!)

Molly, who came originally from the Czech Republic, likes the sea (which is just as well, because she's surrounded by the English Channel!) and the Clough family has a boat. Molly can now be lifted on board and do a bit of posing in her 'Tiny' size life jacket!

Fashion dilemma of the day: should she wear her tail down or up with her new jacket?

So says Peach, the tea cup chihuahua belonging to Katie Lloyd of East Sussex, doing her very best to model her 'Tiny' size life jacket!

"Hi everyone, just look at me - 
so good that I'm now in charge 
of the engine!"

"Anyway I love it, I don’t mind being picked up by the handle and I feel very safe, and actually while we are motoring across the water it helps to keep me warm too!

A little something from Germany

Petra of Berlin, Germany, tells us that Sookie, shown alongside wearing her 'Tiny' size life jacket, wanted to send us this:

"My name is Sookie, I'm a really small one year old pinscher living in Berlin. It's so terrific wifey has found a life-jacket which also fits!

"Due to my 2 kg weight, this search was really hard. I need it for my swimming training as therapy for my recent knee surgery.
